On a regular basis, Apple releases updates to its iOS (the name of the Operating System for the iPad and the iPhone), typically to fix some problem or sometimes to add new features to your iDevice.

When Apple has an update available, they notify you (either through a pop-up, or by you seeing a small circle-one by the Settings icon), but you still have to manually go in and perform the update.

Since I get quite a few questions about doing this, I put together a short video showing you how to do it.
