Digital Camera Optical Zoom versus Digital Zoom

If you have a digital camera, you probably have the “zoom” feature. In fact, you probably have two kinds of zoom… one type is called optical zoom and the other is called digital zoom.

So what’s the difference, and which one should you use?

Well, as you zoom on most cameras, you are using optical zoom until a certain point, and then your camera switches to digital zoom.

BUT, we’re here to tell you a secret in this video… one of these zooms is “good” and the other is “bad”!
